Rexpharm, a specialized company in the development and manufacturing of health functional foods, led by CEO Changhoon Lee, announced on September 22 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Bucheon Pharmaceutical Association to promote the activation of pharmacy-exclusive personalized health supplement dispensing.
Through this collaboration, both parties agreed to work together to ensure that the personalized health supplement dispensing business is successfully established in pharmacies.
Under the MOU, Rexpharm plans to support Bucheon pharmacists by providing materials and information, conducting lectures, and offering an AI-based platform, among other activities, to help the personalized health supplement dispensing business thrive.
Im Heewon, President of the Bucheon Pharmaceutical Association, emphasized, “This new personalized health supplement dispensing initiative will highlight the critical role of pharmacists. It is essential to foster a culture where the public can safely purchase and consume health supplements through professional pharmacist consultation, and the pharmacist’s role in this process is extremely important.”
Changhoon Lee, CEO of Rexpharm, stated, “We will do our best to develop high-quality health functional foods and implement a pharmacist consultation system through our platform, providing a foundation for the public to purchase and consume supplements safely, and to ensure this system becomes well-established in pharmacies.”
Meanwhile, for the personalized health supplement dispensing program, which will be implemented starting January 2025, Rexpharm has also signed an MOU with The Erooun, a company that developed an AI platform exclusively for pharmacies. With Park Youngsoon of Rexpharm appointed as co-CEO of The Erooun, the company plans to actively promote personalized health supplement dispensing for pharmacies.
