On September 7, the Incheon Gyeyang-gu Pharmaceutical Association, led by Acting President Baek Seungjun, announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Rexpharm, a company specializing in the development and manufacturing of health functional foods, led by CEO Changhoon Lee.
The association explained that the purpose of the MOU is to establish a cooperative framework to promote the personalized health supplement dispensing program, which will be implemented starting January 2025.
Under this agreement, both parties will collaborate on:
Establishing and promoting personalized health supplement dispensing among pharmacists in the Gyeyang-gu area,
Sharing information and resources,
Providing pharmacist education and lectures,
Jointly producing and distributing promotional materials and guides to local pharmacies,
Supplying high-quality personalized health supplements at competitive prices.
Baek Seungjun, Acting President of the Gyeyang-gu Pharmaceutical Association, stated, “We hope this MOU will help the personalized health supplement dispensing program take root in local pharmacies and raise interest in health supplements among pharmacists.”
Changhoon Lee, CEO of Rexpharm, added, “We are committed to developing high-quality health functional foods so that the public can make safe and informed choices. We will also actively support the implementation and activation of pharmacist consultation systems in pharmacies.”
